Bhubaneswar: As the long wait for the announcement of results of Odisha Administrative Services (OAS) examination 2011 ended on February 24, 2016, it brought in loads of joy and a pleasant surprise for Puspanjali Panda from Bolangir, presently serving as an assistant veterinary surgeon in Deogaon block of Bolangir district in Odisha. A gold medalist from Odisha University of Agriculture (OUAT) and a mother of a toddler daughter Puspanjali has topped the OAS examination 2011 conducted by Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) which got delayed by around five years for various reasons including legal tangles.
Besides Bolangir, the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) centre near Koraput also erupted in joy with the news of Puspanajli emerging topper of the OAS examination 2011. The reason being she was daughter of a HAL employee. It may be noted here that last year another HAL employee’s daughter Pamela Satapathy made the residents proud by cracking the coveted India Civil Services exams. Puspanjali Panda tops OAS 2011 results has become the buzz and trending topic on Wednesday.
A total of around 418 candidates have qualified in Odisha Civil Service (OCS) exam for the year 2011, as per the notification published on OPSC website.
